looking to put some 18x9 +35 wheels on my STi. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if I'm going to run into any problems with that. Obviously getting my fenders rolled is not a big deal, but if it's going to entail anything more than that I'd like to know before I take the plunge.

Gonna like a rollerskate....

You need an offset around 48-55

WHA?? No, +55 with an 18x9 will, well you won't even get the wheels on because the rim will hit the strut before it seats on the rotor... +42 is the correct offset for a 9" wide wheel...

Yeah the only problem you should have is some rubbing in dips.. I have that issue with my current set up. 17x9 I believe... I alway forget.

Edited for correct wheel size! :)

It will be a more aggressive fitment, but definitely doable. I would roll the hell out of your fenders before coils though.

yeah. I like the wider looking stance it gives a car with a little more of an aggressive offset. Freak, Brett had/has +18s or something like that and, although he did rub pretty good, it wouldn't have taken much to make it work I don't think.

you can fit a 275 in a stock sedan fender iirc with just a roll. with coilovers/camber though.

^^^you could fit 265's without even breaking a sweat. 275's for that matter would probably fit fine.

I wouldnt even attempt an aggressive offset like that without coilovers. You will have to roll and likely pull your fenders to fit it correctly. They will look really good when its done though :)
