Exactly. I lost my brakes on Wednesday and it reminded me of the consequences of tracking my DD. I think I'm done modding the car, time to save some $$ and look for a fun car to toss around on the track.
I've seen Spec Miatas go for $4K with tons of parts. I easily spent that on the Forester.

Screw Spec Miata...Honda Challenge is where its at :D

My lack of motivation track build...
Needs Pads, rotors, SS brake lines, and a cage. Then it will be ready for wheel to wheel racing. Should be about 10K total after I am all said and done.

1700ish lbs.

160WHP of fury!

Interior...or the lack off. Dash, Gauges, Seat, Steering wheel, Harness, and door cards are all that is left.

Nice build!
I really like the turn-in and light weight of Hondas, but I love the drifting and balance of Miatas. Both a really fun and easy to find cheap parts for. Great track cars.
