This was actually a really easy process
1st remove rear taillights you may need a flat head to help pop them off mine were stuck on there pretty good with the stock seller that they use.
Image
2nd clean taillights with glass cleaner or whatever you would like to use to clean and degrees
3rd spray 1 to 3 coats depending on how dark you would like.
Image 3 Coats
4th Dries usually in 15 to 30 min and reattach to car

Two things, I've seen people we sand in between coats on application to get a more consistent application, second; I've also seen tails clear coated after application any reason why or why not you chose not to clear coat them?

i understand that the clear coat gives that little extra protection but for that i am not concerned and also the clear coat makes it shine a little bit more than what it is and for that reason alone i didnt clearcoat them i as for the sanding i could see doing that to smooth it out and make it look more even like you had mentioned but with this stuff it was not needed

The idea behind sanding is to not only smooth the surface out, but to give the primer/base/clear something to bond to. My recommendation if you do sand, then do it with 1500+ wet sand paper. Anything less and you'll be able to see the scratches after the tint has been applied.

That does look hawt on your car though.

Did you pull the lights apart? Or just paint the outsides? If I were to do mine, I'd like to paint on the inside.
