And, as said before, several more gas stations at regular intervals.

It's not bad if your brakes are up to it. A lot easier on the rest of the car than driving down a dirt road, assuming you have an okay tune. Tires, rotors, pads, and gas is the only thing the track is really rough on...

everyone has to start sometime lol. The best thing you can do for yourself with respect to track is to go sign up for TORDE, and have a buddy who has some seat time run the afternoon session with you so you can get some well guided practice laps in and so you don't develop any bad habits. Most of the people out there are VERY accepting and helpful to new people. They are there because they love the sport, and want the sport to grow and have people to share their passion with them. You may go out to miller not knowing a soul, but you'll leave feeling like you knew every person out there. That's at least how my experience went...

Not to mention, the desire to drive illegally fast on the street drops significantly when you have a venue to drive as fast as you have the balls to push your car.... And the camaraderie that you gain with a bunch of guys united around going as fast as possible is really awesome.

Nothing beats winding up and pounding the straights on the track. :) Best feeling ever! :headbanger:

Try out a WoW wednesday, it's cheap and they put cones out on the track to help slow things down. It's still fast and a lot of fun and one car on the track at a time.
