TORD is required for MMP organized track days. For lap battle, SCCA, Lapping days and many other open track days you do not need to take a class.
However if you are a little skeptical about just hopping on track, the TORD class will teach you the basic fundamentals of track safety. After the class, they set you out on track with a instructor to monitor your driving, and will give you a couple quick pointers on how to enjoy the track and stay safe.

love all the photos. i really appreciate the guys that take the time to shoot and get coverage of everyone!

big thanks to rsd and biggie for putting on the lap battle series! i had a blast at this event and gave me the opportunity for my first real open track day. snowcross was fun, but no cones is much better :). i will be sure to make it to all the following events and try to dial in all the good driving skills that these top guys have.

just convert your car to E85, its like adding 108-110 octane.

There are two gas stations that are practically accessible here that carry E85. Do NOT convert it to E85.

haha their was an evoII at this event running e85 he ran out of gas and head to get towed home. Fail

Just do a propane conversion it is eaual to 110 octane and does not have the hydro carbon that a traditional oil based fuel has so no carbon build up. :)

theres very few stations that have propane in this state and the ones that do run out rather quickly so it takes forever to fill up and you might not even get to full because of the low pressure. plus propane sucks big floppy donkey dick in the cold.
