SLCSUBARU is back - Suggestions for improvement??

Thank God Chris got the site back up and running. Some of you witnessed the terror of losing it, with me spending 16 hours creating a new site, all the problems, lack of communication.... it sucked.

Anyway... I know I got a lot of great feedback on the forum I created (it will be gone soon btw), primarily because it is the V3 of the forum and had lots of cool features. We are going to upgrade to V3, however we're going to wait until after the meet on the 18th. It could mean some downtime, and it's not worth risking with the meet coming up. Be patient.

With that, Chris is heading to Korea for a year (as you already know), and may not have much access time to the site to make updates/changes, etc..... so I've finally got admin rights to go and make changes to the layout of the site. Everything I've done in the past, as well as everything I'll do in the future is going to be democracy based, not "me" based... so if you think something needs to be changed/improved, let's discuss it here in this topic.

With that.... let's hear/discuss some ideas. Ranks? New colors? Forum layout? your thoughts?

BTW... still looking for a new header for the top of the page with Draklien's new logo...... haven't recieved much yet. Lets see!

ya since meets have been happening every other month i think that is a great time to change the header and colors of the site so its new and fresh every two months, but it isnt a whole lot of work to do. ranks are fun,

maybe buying some server space. and allowing members to donate to it.

^^^ I dunno.....I've always been pretty skeptical about involving money.

This site is 100% free.... no one makes any money at all.... no one spends any either though.

true, but i think that we would possibly be able to get enough in donations to keep a simple shared server running.
