What does the technical inspection entail? I can make this one, but I'm not sure what to expect. Is it just like an autocross on dirt or snow instead?

basically we have the same guide lines the autocrossers use and we're not to picky as long as its safe

I may be intersted! I just have a stock 08 subie, what type of things do I need to race? How much is it? Do they allow passengers? Basically want some more details because I am a noob and have never raced out there..

I need to fab up some sort of shield for my missing/broken right front fender liner. I don't want all those rocks potentially getting thrown forward and puncturing my radiator. If I can figure that out, I'll definitely race.

you need keys, your car, a helmet, $45, a foot, hands, and some finesse. i went out there in my stock 08 n/a for my first time and tore **** up! its fun as hell, you almost forget you're racing

Yep like Greg said you just show up with your car and race. Basically if it can pass a state safety inspection then it should be good to race. They are strict about having your battery tied down and it's good to have the covering over the positive terminal. Passengers are allowed (no one in the back seats), they just need a helmet too. Check out last month's rallyx thread for pics and vids to see what it's like.

I am working my ass of to be there, got tires with grip, so watch out josh, I'm comin for class victory this time.... if I can talk my way outta an Anual traing day... other wise its on at the national in march for that $1200 subie contingency...
