i recommend professional installation. theres plenty of things for you to mess up with wiring. call car concepts in slc or www.carconceptsslc.com

agreed, professional would be best if you dont know what you are doing
alarm systems have so much wiring it drives me crazy

I'm really surprised no one on here knows how to install an alarm system. well I guess I'll post info on how I did mine when I'm done. I'm almost done. I don't need to pay someone 200+ to do something I can do and learn something while doing it. That money can go toward a new hood or clear headlights on my svx. If you know anything about wiring its not hard, Its just figuring out the alarm company's lingo and what wires you need and what ones you don't need.
