I don't buy into this.... That means a UP alone (causing faster spool) would require a tune, which it doesn't. Case in point, 04/05 Foresters have a precat, 06+ do not. No changes to programming were made due to the cat's elimination. Not to mention that the codes shot by the o2 sensors high pre-cat temps are already set to be ignored, or a mechanical fix should have already been in place...
To someone with existing EM, especially using Cobb OTS maps, the replacement of the UP with a non-catted unit does not require a re-tune.

I would have to agree with a catless up-pipe upgrade for the 02-03 wrx would not require a retune. how ever a catless down-pipe would or atleast a base map loaded.
