it will be fine lol. The piston just had a crack on the ring land. the cylinder is the same size, no marks in it what so ever. the new piston was one tenth bigger. So the old and new piston have a one tenth difference. This has been done many times with v8's and such so im sure it will be good. Nothing fell apart anywhere. And the piston need to be coaxed to fall apart. It didnt just fall apart right when it came out.

As long as no metal got away from you. And things have come a long way since the day of the big block V8 ;)

EDIT: and you may want to swap oil on a more frequent occasion for a while to make sure there isn't any metal in the crankcase...

When i broke the ring land in my wrx the cylinder was severely scarred.
