Kentrik, eat sleep jdm and i have spent the better half of the past two days trying to get subs wired into my car. but for some reason the power amp wont pull power. we've checked and double checked the remote wire, but it looks like we may have to get a new remote wire because this one just isn't working. but if anybody else can think of any reason why it would be doing this, tell me plzzz. i know it has power because when i connected the ground it sparked a lil bit.

Whoa just cause of a spark doesn't mean a thing! If you have digital meter use it and check for power and proper ground. 90% of the time stuff doesn't work because the ground is bad! Make sure you have the 12.3 to 12.8 battery voltage at the amp. then check for ground and check for proper continuity threw the remote wire!

sand your ground a little too just so you know theres no paint on the surface for ultimate contact. webers auto dept has meters. id talk to joe grundvig (the gm and now toyota instructor) and ask if you can check it with his. if you can talk to him before he leaves for lunch you can set up a time to pull your car in and check it. if i had a meter id check it but i no has meter.

I have a metter but according to bones its not as fanzy as his lol but it works

i have multimeters, i can grab one and come up sometime this weekend if you want and look at it with you guys

just check and recheck all the wiring, check the sub wiring as well inside the box and the terminals on the outside maybe?
