Snap! Thanks for the offer though, I like the tails quite a bit. And greg, for sure we'll have to do some NA mods togetha.

I just put mine on. Was a pain in the ass. Took out the units, and carefully applied the film with a hairdryer for about half hour per light. Lots of stretching, repositioning, stretching, cursing, drinking beer, cursing, stretching, etc etc. There are still some little creases and bubbles in them, but they dont seem to noticeable.

Also, when putting them on, you put a solution of soap water liberally on the lights to help positioning. Creates bubbles, which you can remove with tiny little holes using a fine needle to remove.

^i help brendon do a pair of those...i really think that the vinyl is way too much of an inconvience to apply and have look great. I got vinyl for mine too and finally just cut out squares to block out the white part.
WCKDWRX, if you are planning on doing it, i'd just get some vht nightshades.

the overlays take awhile for the hatches... btw i wouldnt poke holes, i would do it right the first time and get the bubbles out. because the bubbles open a hole for the air to get in and lift the overlay off :P i still have 2 air bubbles in mine, but its not noticeable. i used the lamin-x overlays. travis, if u get the overlays and want help pm me. i used no soap water, straight distilled water. it took me probably about 45 minutes total. but i did a crappy job on cutting of the excess vinyl.

Same. Open my hatch and you can see where i shittily cut em. Even my exacto knife just kinda tore through some areas ah well. I figure next time I'll get them done professionally. Anyone know Jesus at jcautomotion who does tint? I recommend him if anyone needs some done. Got 5's on my car there. Said he could do [my] tails for around $40-60

black pain mixed with clear.... spray em bake em, buff em. the buffing just makes it so the lights shows through as it used to without ting but still makes them dark.
