installed my twisted injections water/methanol kit this last week i mounted a red led next to the clock so i know when it sprays i have it set to start at 8psi :bananaboob:

lemme know if you want one its my buddies business here in utah 250 for the kit and 400 installed if you dk what your doing :punchballs

You think it would be worth it to get meth/ water just as a preventative measure?

yes. it's like running race gas all the time. without the cost. i fill up my tank (3 liter) once every.. two months? unless i'm racing.

exactly it would be a good preventable measure plus you can get the methanol yourself and mix your own for about 3.50 or so a gallon or buy it pre mixed for 6 bucks a gallon

You can buy denatured alcohol and distilled water for a lot less than that...

yeah its worth the 400 kits go for 450+ online just for the kit. the 400 from twisted injections is installed or if you think you can tackle it then 250 for the kit and it comes with a 1 gallon tank :banana:

What does the install entail?

And james is a RMIC member and his injection hydrolocked his motor when it was turned off...

he ended up cracking the ring lands in one of the cylinders. i got his motor

it was accidentally injecting meth when the motor was off because the key was in the 'on' position. something freaked out to make it do it. he couldn't ever get it to happen again.

i didn't have to pay for mine, it came with the car. i just had it installed. so yes i'd say it's worth it

i asked my buddie and he hasent got back to me but i know the 400 includes the kit and the install of it the kit comes with everything you need pump and boost switch to activate pump and all the little odds and ends of course you have to tune for the methanol so i dk if the 400 is with a tune or not if not my other friend does tunning open source ecu flash he could probly do a base map for the methanol for around 100 or 150 he just flashes your stock ecu

You have to tune for it to take advantage of it. My question is, if i ran meth on a non-meth tune, would it simply give me less chance of detonation, or would the water be too much too compensate for? Sorry, ima newb when it comes to meth.
