a friend of mine told me about it when we painted his wheels. he read about it on a forum somewhere haha. just passing on the info

I used the index card method as well. It works nicely.

Well said! Also, if you have some vasoline, put that on the sidewalls so if you overspray it won't get on the sidewall, it will wipe right up when the vasoline is wiped off :)

I've used the index card idea before but that vasoline idea sounds pretty much...

amazing ill try that next time I paint something.

What about painting bare aluminum? is there a special step in prepping that I'd have to do?
