I painted my stockers with Grimmspeed gold and it turned out great. I did a light sand with 400 grit then I used Dupli-color adhesion promoter. I then painted with 3 light coats and I found that when the paint starts to look like it has little black beads in it that is the perfect thickness of paint. Because the inside edges are not as thick as I would like so I may get another can and go over them. I only used one can of Dupli-color Clear coat probably should have used two so when I do my second can for touch ups I will Clear coat it again.

Steps:1-clean surface I used eagleone foam degreasser and that worked great
Step:2-light wet sand with 400 grit
Step:3-clean again
Step:4-I sprayed 2-3 light coats of Adhesion Promoter
Step:4-Then sprayed 3 light coats of Grimmspeed(make sure you get the inside real good)
Step:5-Then sprayed 3 light coats of clear coat (but on the third coat make it thicker than the rest)

I used
1 can-Duplicolor adhesion promoter(perfect amount)
2 cans-Grimmspeed STI gold paint
1 can- Duplicolor Clear coat(I recommend 2 cans actually)

Camera failure - far too bright lol.

Looks good from what I can see. I plan to paint mine as well, but probably gun metal.

Because I was tired, hungover, and thought it was white. Obviously didn't look too closely at the picture.

Yeah I should paint the side skirts I didnt think about that. thanks for the comments and yes I have a POS camera so next time we do a meet someone with a real camera can get some better pics. I have not fully clear coated them yet though so they will have some more shine.

plus my car is dirty from driving on dirt roads and my tires need cleaning as well.

Lol. Be glad it ISN'T Aspen White, it would look worse dirty. My car only looks good two ways: covered in mud, or clean as hell.

Good to see, though. What do you think of your C-West spoiler? People used to give me crap about my sweet ass "evo" spoiler for mine, but mine was way ghetto as well.

its not bad but it does look like an evo wing. No one has given me crap about it yet though. The only reason I bought it was because it bolts into the stock wrx wing holes on the trunk. Plus I only paid $65 for it unpainted so it wasnt bad at all.

haha the paint job that i did to the wheels on my L consisted of 1. wipe with rag 2. spray with primer 3. spray with paint

one coat of each and were done haha, now thats quality
