I'm for starting a new site, however its too hard to carry over all the members on the site. I've already considered starting a new site using V-Bulletin but if I was to switch I would lose all 453 members that have already registered. I know that only maybe 120 members are really active so it wouldn't take long to get the numbers back. This is something that will take a lot of time working on. I can start working on the website I was building and then make a preview of the site too see what everyone thinks, again remember we are going to lose everyones accounts.

I currently own the slcsubaru.com rights, thats why when you type it in it automatically takes you to the freeforum.org site. When I started the club back in Oct 2007 I didn't think it would take off the way it has. We had only 6-8 members for the first 3-4 months then Matt really helped this site take off.

Hrm.....There might be a way around that. If you're dead set on V-Bulletin, that's one thing....but if you want, I can build a forum online under a different URL for you and see what you think...hell, I can even go as far as to create every user's existing account and move it across. The hard part will be moving the actual forum and posts themselves. But, if we do it right, it could work out rather well. Where are you hosting the SLCsubaru.com site from?

I hosting from hostmonster.com, if you could carry over the accounts from here that would be freakin amazing. I'm not entirelly set on V-bulletin but I talked with a few people using and they all like hosting with it. If you have a different idea please pm me and let me know. Also feel free to post any ideas or examples up I'm down for anything. I created this forum in about 15 minutes so not really a lot of time was put into it but hey its a very good start.

I haven't had the time to experiment with differnt forum builders I really like the ease of using the phpBB forums vs the V-bulletins though.
