I know the feeling. the whole why didn't you buy a sti? And now that I own one people don't know the difference and think it is the same car. really annoying! but yes the rex term for a wrx is not something I would use.

no way man. rex is just fine and gives the car some character. Maybe i dont know enough gangster kids bu tit doesnt sound like it fits in that genre to me. I use it all the time and actually named my dog Wrex. I've never thought twice about it being uncool or lame
