Sorry folks.... It's an unfortunate byproduct of V3...... and the popularity of the site.

I have the option of purchasing an "ad removal"..... at $10 per 1000 page views.

$40...... "might" last a month...... maybe.

Just try to ignore it I suppose.... wish there was something I could do..... but the club started as a "free" site. No one makes a dime... not even the vendors. And they don't pay to be on here. That freedom allows us to pretty much offer up vendor status to anyone that supports the site. Or..... just as easily, take it away from any vendor that doesn't support the site (remember Orlando?)

Sorry..... just do your best to try to ignore it. We may upgrade to new software some day.... of course then you guys will just bitch about the changes---LOL

Unlike "other" sites that are primarily in existence to make $$$.... we aren't contractually or monetarily obligated to do anything.

Orlando was offered free advertising.... and never supported the site... so he lost his vendor status.

Blackout is still posting on NASIOC because "supposedly" nothing could be proved. Whatever... I don't play that game... poof... he's gone.... permanently

There are a few advantages to running a site based on enthusiasts..... not money. The downside however... are those irritating ads up top _

Well, if we want to set up a paypal account FOR the boards that people can contribute to, maybe even give a special title to those who do, and a Limited Edition T-Shirt and/or sticker or something, that would be a great way to pay for it, but.......when too much money gets involved in this type of thing, it can make a lot of people sour or bitter. It's probably better to deal with the ads and keep it free.
